Richard Armitage

I know there are quite a few who love this man. Richard Armitage plays the man who marries the Vicar of Dibley in the last episode. I watch this series whenever I can but had never seen this far into the series. I wonder how long it was on? Dawn French looks younger here compared to her on Lark Rise to Candleford. I was just about to crawl to bed when I spotted that someone posted this on FB so i started to watch. An hour and a half later I had to turn it off.

This is very long - several videos but it is very adorable, Richard Armitage is so sweet, nothing like MI5. I can see what all the fuss is about now. She is wonderful singing "it should have been me."

One of my favorite TV series was Absolutely Fabulous with Pats and Eddie and the bitch daughter.

I had watched the old North and South with Patrick Swayze and it was all right, nothing special I thought. Now I will have to watch the Armitage North and South. I like him better without the MI5 persona.

Karen! You've discovered lovely Richard only now? And you haven't seen he as John Thornton in North and South? Be careful! It'll be wonderful but it a journey with no return. Warned!
I saw N&S in the summer 2008 because I wanted to teach about Gaskell and her main novels with a visual support. Here I am now! I've watched anything, everything with Richard Armitage in it.
I can't agree with about Spooks (MI5) since I've always loved that series and when Mr Thornton arrived at the Grid!
I can't wait to read your review of North and South.Because you're are going to write one, aren't you?
Take care and ... welcome among us!
(P.S. For any counseling about what to see or listen to next, I'm here for you at any time)

Ooops! I posted without re-reading. Lots of typos. Forgive me, K. I hope you can understand my comment anyway. MG

Maria - I didn't like spooks after Matthew left it - I can't seem to get into it anymore. I never even heard of this man until I started with the Jane Austen community. He's very good and very gentle. Both of those qualities are big with me.
