Darcy has begun to fall out of bed. What is she doing in bed you may ask? Well, she's in bed because I pick her up and deposit her on the bed. I sleep better with dogs in the bed, I don't know why. Anyway, she hasn't mastered the bed thing quite yet. She rolls off pretty regularly. Come to thnk of it, my husband used to fall out of bed occasionally. I accused him of being horizontally challenged. He said he was escaping. Semantics, you know...
How did this happen? We have had her two weeks and she's already spoiled rotten. She just ate an old shoe of mine; she chews everything. She gets up on her hind legs to survey the tables and the dresser, she sniffs around the chairs (don't even want to know what sort of interesting smells she finds there).
She is so good though, she spits out whatever is in her mouth and gets this desperately shocked look on her face as if someone had forced fed her or shoved the object into her mouth when she wasn't looking - looks at you from under those non existent eyelashes.
New toys this week - a squeaky mouse, a sqeaky ball tied to a black rope, a rubber tire that would fit on a hobbit roadster, two furry rubber balls.
So far my shoe is her favorite.
I'm crazy about her.
